That’s why we’re proud to recognize Edwin, our Drill Rig Operator, with the Professionalism imPACT Award. With just two years at StormWater Pros under his belt, Edwin has already earned the trust and admiration of his peers, supervisors, and even high-profile partners in the field.
Presented by Cindy Johnson (General Manager), Justin Ramirez (Director of Construction), and his direct supervisor Austin Sersig, the award celebrates individuals who represent the company with excellence—both on and off the job site.
A Reputation Built on Respect
From the moment Edwin joined StormWater Pros, his impact was undeniable. Starting as a helper, he was thrown into a drill rig operator role within a week. Instead of backing down, he leaned in—pushing through uncertainty, learning fast, and proving he could rise to the challenge.
In just two years, Edwin earned his CDL, operated some of the most complex and expensive machinery on our fleet, and was entrusted with out-of-state projects. Through every new task and challenge, he’s upheld the same level of calm, collected, professional conduct that’s made him a standout.
As one leader put it,

Going the Extra Mile—Literally
One of Edwin’s standout moments came just after earning his CDL. He was quickly asked to drive one of our rigs out to a major California job site—a huge vote of confidence in his skill and reliability.
Even when unexpected challenges arose, Edwin kept a level head and communicated directly with his supervisors. He later shared how much it meant to him that the company trusted him with such a responsibility, saying,
“That meant a lot. You guys believing in me—that says a lot.”

Whether it’s coordinating with top clients or simply walking into the office, Edwin’s demeanor is consistent: respectful, responsible, and ready to do the job right. He’s been praised by coworkers, field leaders, and clients alike for how he carries himself and how he leads without needing a title to do so.
