imPACT in Action: Michael Wiggin – Setting the Standard for Accountability

Accountability: We own our actions and actively seek solutions.

At StormWater Pros, we believe that accountability builds the foundation of everything we do—from the quality of our work to the safety of our teams. And this quarter, we’re proud to recognize someone who leads with that mindset every single day: Michael Wiggin, our Q2 imPACT Award winner for Accountability.

What is the imPACT Award?

The imPACT Awards were created to honor team members who exemplify our values not just in theory, but in action. Each quarter, we spotlight select SWP PACT values and invite leaders to nominate employees who demonstrate those values in outstanding ways. For Q2, we focused on Safety, Pride, and Accountability.

This award is more than recognition—it reinforces the culture we’re building together. A culture where people step up, speak up, and consistently choose to do what’s right for the team and our clients.

Why Michael?

Michael’s nomination perfectly captured the heart of accountability:

“He isn't scared to let us know if something happens on a jobsite where it could look bad on us or himself. He holds himself to a standard of ‘it's just better to let someone know than to hide it and hope someone doesn’t catch on.’”

This mindset builds trust and strengthens the entire team. By openly communicating when something goes wrong—big or small—Michael helps prevent minor issues from becoming major problems. His willingness to take ownership, even when it’s uncomfortable, is what true accountability looks like.

As Tanner Waters, UT VP Said:

“It makes a big difference when someone brings up an issue right away. When something gets buried for days or weeks, it becomes harder to fix—and more frustrating for everyone. Michael’s honesty helps us all do our jobs better.”

A Culture of Speaking Up

Construction is fast-paced and unpredictable. Mistakes happen. Conditions change. What sets teams apart is how they respond—and Michael leads by example. He doesn’t shy away from tough conversations or hope problems go unnoticed. He owns it. He shares it. He helps solve it.

He’s a living example of our value:
Accountability: We own our actions and actively seek solutions.

This kind of integrity doesn’t just make a project safer and smoother—it strengthens our culture, one action at a time.

Thank You, Michael

Michael, thank you for setting the bar high. Your accountability doesn’t just make an impact—it inspires others to lead with honesty and ownership, too. You make StormWater Pros stronger every single day.
