Swinging for a Cause: Supporting COTA at the Annual Charity Golf Tournament
We were honored to take part in the recent Annual Charity Golf Tournament hosted by Hunter Contracting Co. at the beautiful Ocotillo Golf Club. This event, which has been running since 1990, raises funds for the Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) and other local charities. Over the last 35 years, the tournament has raised an impressive $795,000 to help families and children who face life-saving medical procedures like organ transplants, bone marrow, and stem cell treatments.
The golf tournament is much more than just a game—it’s an event that makes a significant impact on the lives of those in need. COTA provides essential support to families of children and young adults requiring these life-saving treatments, easing the financial burden so that families can focus on what truly matters: the health and well-being of their loved ones.
As a Green Sponsor of the event, we were excited to contribute to such a meaningful cause. The funds raised help COTA continue its important work, offering financial assistance to families during the most challenging times. For us, it was more than just a round of golf—it was an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and their families.
Our team, including Juan Fletes, Amaron Merrill, and Patrick Whelen, had a great time hitting the tees at Ocotillo Golf Club. It was a day full of camaraderie, friendly competition, and, most importantly, giving back to those who need it most.
We’d like to extend a huge thank you to Hunter Contracting Co. and all the sponsors, participants, and volunteers who made this event a success. Your support plays a crucial role in helping families focus on what’s truly important, and together, we’re helping build a brighter future for those in need.
Thank you for being part of something bigger.
