Reflections on the AACM Trade Show: A Week Later
It has been just over a week since the curtains fell on the grand spectacle that was the AACM Trade Show, and yet, we at StormWater Pros are still basking in the afterglow of such a remarkable event. The whirlwind of activity, connections, and, of course, the theme, left us both exhilarated and happily exhausted.
The AACM Trade Show is always a highlight in our calendar, but this year’s event, themed Now Streaming on Netflix, was truly something special. It was a pleasure to finally connect in person with the Community Managers we’ve been collaborating with so closely. There’s something about face-to-face interaction that reignites the passion for our shared goals and reminds us why we do what we do. Beyond those familiar faces, we were thrilled to meet new partners, each conversation sparking ideas of what StormWater Pros could achieve in new and exciting ways.
Now, let’s talk about that theme! AACM has a knack for selecting themes that resonate, and this year was no exception. The Now Streaming on Netflix theme allowed us to get creative and have a bit of fun with our booth design. We chose to honor none other than Lady Whistledown, the sharp-tongued, all-seeing chronicler from the hit show Bridgerton. Our booth was a nod to her elegance, wit, and eye for detail—a perfect fit, we think, for what StormWater Pros stands for in our industry.
Planning and decorating our booth was as much fun as it was a chance to stand out. We aimed to create a space that was not only visually engaging but also reflective of the high standards we bring to our work. Judging by the reactions we received, it seems we succeeded!
As we continue to recover from the whirlwind that was the AACM Trade Show, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth, engaged in conversation, or simply shared in the excitement of the event.
